Oakley’s first ever global flagship store in Shibuya opened in June of 2020. The store created a unique space that forged together a full brand immersion with exclusive capsule collections and limited edition product drops. The iconic HACHI statue is the landmark in Shibuya. Not so many people know that Oakley is named after a dog - our founder, Jim Jannard’s beloved dog was called Oakley. This collection is a nod to that heritage, bringing together several unique Oakley styles in celebration of Shibuya and of course, man’s best friend.

In pop culture, it was a time like no other. Ronald Reagan was in the White House, The Terminator was in the box office and Run DMC was in certified gold. It was also the time when Oakley created one-of-a-kind sunglasses called Frogskins. Oakley resurrected the original tooling from the '80s giving you a chance to own a piece of history.
