眼鏡処方箋を正しく理解することはとても大切です。処方箋には、はっきりと見える適正な視力に矯正するために必要な情報と、視力に合った最適なフレームとレンズの組み合わせを選ぶために必要な情報が含まれています。
こちらで処方箋の理解に役立つ典型的なサンプルをご紹介します。

右目（OD）ODはラテン語で右目を意味する「oculus dexter」の略です。 左目（OS）OSはラテン語で左目を意味する「oculus sinister」の略です。 PWR/SPH（球面度数）PWRとSPHは同じく球面度数を意味し、レンズの度数の強さを表します。近視の場合はマイナス（-）、遠視の場合はプラス（+）が表記されます。 CYL（円柱度数）乱視の度合いを意味します。乱視の場合、目の一部の見え方を調節する必要があります。円柱度数はマイナスで（‐）で表記されます。 AXIS（乱視軸）乱視の方のみに表記されます。AXIS（乱視軸）は0から180までの数値で表記され、乱視の角度を意味します。 ADD（加入度数）この数値は累進レンズまたは多焦点レンズ専用です。プラス（+）の数値で表記されるか、ブランドによって「高」または「低」で表記される場合があります。
処方箋の提出方法
ご注文いただくには、ご注文プロセス完了後に眼鏡処方箋と瞳孔間距離の測定値の書面コピーをご提出いただく必要があります。
多く場合、瞳孔間距離の測定値(PD)は眼鏡処方箋に記載されていますが、記載がない場合には眼科医から提供を受けることができます。もしくは、自宅で測定できる瞳孔間距離測定ツールをオークリーからお送りすることも可能です。
処方箋と瞳孔間距離測定値を提出するには、2つの方法があります。
