One of the world’s premier auto designers started small. As a matter of fact, Chip Foose was just a kid in the ’60s, begging for a chance to join his dad at building legendary street machines. Chip had his crosshairs on one particular ride. It wasn’t a street rod. It was a 1956 Ford F-100 truck. That rig got him around for years, and the time came to reward it with the engine and body it deserved. Chip made sketches and his dad went to work on it. The result became Chip’s all-time favorite personal truck, a high honor from the youngest person ever to be inducted into the Hot Rod Hall of Fame.

This Signature Series edition of OAKLEY JUPITER™ salutes Chip’s ’56 Ford F-100. A graphic of the truck is subtly etched at the corner of the lens, and you’ll find Chip’s signature printed inside the stem. The colors of this collectible are the same ones Chip selected for the truck interior and bed. We used matte black for the outer surface and rust color for the interior, and this is the first time we’ve ever done a two- black for the outer surface and rust color for the interior, and this is the first time we’ve ever done a two- tone design with O MATTER®, a durable yet lightweight frame material. The unique eyewear comes in custom packaging, and a custom-printed MICROCLEAR® bag is included for lens cleaning and frame storage.

The frame is matched with Bronze colored lenses for improved visual contrast in average sun brightness. OAKLEY JUPITER offers the unrivaled clarity and protection of HIGH DEFINITION OPTICS® (HDO®)). That includes optical performance and impact resistance that meets ANSI Z87.1 standards, along with 100% UV filtering. Our Three-Point Fit keeps the lenses in precise optical alignment while ensuring all-day comfort. Any garage guru would respect the feel of the dual-action cam hinges, and the metal band highlights show respect for the kind of detailing that makes Chip a living legend.

Return Policy

Your satisfaction is guaranteed. If you are not satisfied with your Oakley Direct purchase, please call 1.800.403.7449 for a Return Material Authorization (RMA). Customized product or product that has been abused may not be returned under any circumstances. For all other products, if the item is returned in the original packaging, we will exchange it or provide you a refund based on your original method of payment. The product must be returned to Oakley Direct within 14 calendar days of the issuance of the RMA. All products must be packed in the original, unmarked packaging including any accessories, manuals, documentation and registration that was included with the product. Returns that do not meet these conditions may be subject to a restocking fee.

You must request an RMA for electronics products within 15 days of the date of original purchase.

You must request an RMA for all other products within 30 days of the date of original purchase.

Restocking Fee

Unless prohibited by law, A 10% restocking fee will be charged on opened electronics products, unless the item is defective or damaged, or the wrong item was shipped to you.

Missing Item or Damaged Product Fee

Additional fees will be charged for any product missing the original box, packaging material, contents, accessories and/or manuals (i.e., any product not in "sellable" condition).

Please include the packing slip with your return and wrap the package securely. For your protection, we recommend that you use a traceable and insurable form of mail for shipment. Oakley Direct is not responsible for any items lost or damaged in transit.
