What do you get when you put celebrities and Oakley together in Park City, Utah?

Major shreddage. Sundance Film Festival style.

The Big O invaded the snowy town late January with a sick setup at the Downstairs venue on Main St. (Owned by That 70’s show star Danny Masterson) – bringing together a vibrant collection of personalities from Hollywood, the music world and action sports for yet another edition of O’s ‘Learn to Ride’ event. And it was definitely a party.

Oakley Pro snowboarders Zach Leach, Sam Luebke and ‘The Dingo’ – along with Skater Lauren Perkins – shared the stoke and their skills to teach Sundance celebrities their craft: ripping it up on the slopes. All complemented by Oakley family members Sal Masakela, Shwayze/Cisco Adler, Lil’ Jon and rising star musician Kelley James gracing the scene.

“Oakley’s LTR program is the perfect bridge between our sports and athlete heritage – and the world of entertainment,” said Oakley Alternative Marketing Manager Jeremy McCassy. “Oakley is providing a truly once in a lifetime opportunity for both athletes and celebrities to collide.”

Amongst the celebrities in town for Sundance: Adrian Grenier (Entourage), Brian Cranston (Breaking Bad), Anne Heche (HBO’s Hung), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Liam Hemsworth, Joy Bryan (Parenthood), Slash (Guns and Roses), Andie Macdowell (Footloose) and Susan Sarandon (Wall Street) amongst many more who were more than down to shred then party it up with the Big O.

It all capped off with a bona fide good time at the ‘Oakley Snowball Run Party’ – closing out yet another successful Learn to Ride event at one of the epicenters of the entertainment industry.
