He’s Nicky Hayden, The Kentucky Kid who became the MotoGP World Champion in 2006. We’re saluting him with a special edition of Oakley OIL RIG, an aggressive style worthy of a racer whose world rips by at more than 200 mph.

Made for collectors and speed fanatics, this is the second edition of the Nicky Hayden Signature Series OIL RIG. We redesigned the metal icons for a new “split” look and kept the highlights, including custom graphics with Nicky’s traditional racing number. The Polished Black frame is matched with Black IRIDIUM® coated lenses to fuel clarity in bright light while reducing glare. Nicky’s signature is laser etched at the corner of the lens, and a custom printed MICROCLEAR™ bag is included for lens cleaning and frame storage.

The comfortably lightweight frame of durable O MATTER® includes sculpturally integrated hinges with dual cam action. This premium design puts technology on the fast track with POLARIC ELLIPSOID™ geometry that creates a single continuous contour of PLUTONITE® lens material. HIGH DEFINITION OPTICS® (HDO®) opens the throttle on peripheral vision with startling clarity. With OIL RIG sunglasses, the velocity of innovation blurs the line between science and art, and it salutes one of the hardest working racers on the circuit.

Your satisfaction is guaranteed. If you are not satisfied with your Oakley Direct purchase, please call 1.800.403.7449 for a Return Material Authorization (RMA). Customized product or product that has been abused may not be returned under any circumstances. For all other products, if the item is returned in the original packaging, we will exchange it or provide you a refund based on your original method of payment. The product must be returned to Oakley Direct within 14 calendar days of the issuance of the RMA. All products must be packed in the original, unmarked packaging including any accessories, manuals, documentation and registration that was included with the product. Returns that do not meet these conditions may be subject to a restocking fee.

Restocking Fee

Unless prohibited by law, A 10% restocking fee will be charged on opened electronics products, unless the item is defective or damaged, or the wrong item was shipped to you.

Missing Item or Damaged Product Fee

Additional fees will be charged for any product missing the original box, packaging material, contents, accessories and/or manuals (i.e., any product not in "sellable" condition).

Please include the packing slip with your return and wrap the package securely. For your protection, we recommend that you use a traceable and insurable form of mail for shipment. Oakley Direct is not responsible for any items lost or damaged in transit.
