Q & A

  1. If there’s one thing that people in the industry would recognize you by, what would that be?

I hope people will say that I was a talented driver one day. I also want people to recognize me as being the first Top Fuel driver in John Force Racing. I have a long road ahead of me and still have so much to learn, but those are some of goals I hope to achieve.

  2. Word Association:

Tweet= I should probably get a twitter account. Vision= My doctor refused to pass me on the eye exam for my racing physical because my vision was so poor. So the next week I got Lasik Eye Surgery and jumped back into the car. Friend= My sisters and my team for the 2013 Mello Yello NHRA season. Foe= I hope I don’t have any foes:/ Boogie= I think that’s the dance my dad does when he’s having a good day in the office.

  3. When did you first start racing? Where/why?

I first started racing at 16 years old when I got licensed in a Super Comp Dragster at the Frank Hawley’s Driving School in Pomona. I then moved up the ranks and began competing in an A-fuel dragster for two years. I just earned my Top Fuel license and can’t wait to start competing for the 2013 NHRA Mello Yello series.

  4. What drives you to be sicker than everyone else?

I will be the first Top Fuel Dragster in John Force Racing. I am also officially the quickest Force with an ET of 3.86 at 319 mph!

  5. If you weren’t ripping in your car, what kind of menial task would you want to do?

I would still want to be involved in drag racing, so any job that would keep me out at the track would make me happy.

  6. If you had to share a bathroom with one Oakley rider/driver, who would it NOT be and why?

My father, John Force because I already spend too much time with him.

  7. Tell me a funny story about an Oakley rider/driver...(We’ll never tell)

My sister Courtney and I recently went to Thailand for a Thanksgiving holiday. We wanted to get the whole cultural experience out of our trip so had our days filled with elephant riding, bamboo rafting and visiting all the top attractions. One day we went on a private snorkeling tour. Anxious to get started we got our gear on and went out ahead of the instructor. Unfamiliar with the waters of Thailand we jumped right into a school of jellyfish. We were in the water screaming and twitching as we got stung about 20 times each. We learned our lesson and to always let the professional take the first plunge.

  8. Talent…other than doing no handed pushups:

I can pick up dancing really fast. I learned the steps to salsa dancing in about 20 min. My instructor told me he had never seen anyone learn the steps that quickly, but that might be something he tells to all of his clients.

  9. Your Favorite…(Start with your favorite music artist or something):

Favorite Song: Dance by Rebeccca & Fiona and Too Close by Alex Clare Favorite Book: Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins Favorite TV show: Vampire Diaries

  10. Oakleys are…

… Oakley sunglasses are something I couldn’t live without!

  11. What is something that you wouldn't normally tell someone about yourself?

Velvet, sharks and being chased freak me out! I also have a little bit of a germ phobia. Living on the road, in and out of different hotels is a challenge for me. I bring my own sleeping bag sheet to sleep in because I always question if the maid was having a bad day and decided to not wash the sheets the day I was checking in.

  12. Fist pumping? Head Banging? C-Walking? Electric Slide? Or Funky Chicken? Which one? Or all of the above?

They are all considered dancing and I love dancing, so I have attempted all at some point on the dance floor. Fist pumping when I’m mimicking the Jersey Shore cast. Head Banging means I usually hate the song and don’t know how to dance to it. C-walking has definitely been attempted but far from perfected. Electric Slide got me in trouble at a country bar because I messed up the steps and was asked to leave the floor, twice! Who doesn’t know and love the funky chicken?!

  13. Dream vacation spot:

    Greece!

  14. Favorite Track:

The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway!

  15. The Track/Course You Dread Most:

The Auto Club Finals at Pomona because it is officially the last race of the season☹

  16. People would be super surprised if they knew that you…

    have been over 319 mph!

  17. You’ve been mistaken for…

    My sisters; Ashley and Courtney.

  18. Jay Leno, Tosh.O or Conan?

Jay Leno and Tosh.O are my favorites! I’ve learned Tosh.O cannot be watched while you’re eating dinner though.

  19. Last words…

Thank you so much Oakley for all your support over the years and I can’t wait to get out on the track in a Top Fuel Dragster for the 2013 NHRA Mello Yello season!
