Bio

My name is Faye Gulini. I am a professional snowboarder for the US Snowboard Team. My main event is Snowboard Cross and I also compete in Slope Style and Half Pipe. I developed a passion for snowboarding at the age of 10 and joined the Snowbird Snowboard Team. When I was 14. I made the decision to chase my dream of one day becoming a professional snowboarder. I moved from my home and family in Salt Lake City, Utah to Vail, Colorado. There I attended the Vail Ski and Snowboard Academy. I have been on the US Snowboard Team since I was 17 years old and attended the 2010 Winter Olympic Games. At age 17 I was the youngest Snowboard Cross athlete at the Olympics and placed 12th. I have also competed in Winter X Games three years in a row. At 15 I competed in both Half Pipe and Snowboard Cross.

I am currently 19 years old and reside in Salt Lake City, Utah. I am attending Westminster College and training at the Center of Excellence in Park City. Aside from snowboarding I enjoy vacationing in Lake Powell with my family. I plan on pursuing my goal of becoming 2014 Olympic Snowboard Cross Champion.
