Bio

It’s difficult for Jenny Fletcher to remember a day in which she has not been involved in something. From tap, jazz and ballet to riding horses on her family farm in Western Canada, Jenny decided at a young age she wanted to do it all. In school it was track and field, volleyball and basketball; after school it was Tetrathlon, a sport consisting of running, swimming, shooting (air pistol) and cross-country horse jumping.

At the age of 15, Jenny was discovered by international modeling agency Mode Models and quickly began a journey that she is still enjoying today. In fact, her journey began so quickly that before she or her parents could think twice, Jenny was on a plane to Japan by herself! She quickly adapted to the fast-paced lifestyle of modeling and balancing the challenges of being a teenager. Although she had a career that continuously shuttled her around the world, at the same time, she would return home to the simplicity of growing up on a farm where she could just enjoy being a tomboy!

During this time Jenny was also trying to balance her dream of competing at Worlds in modern pentathlon. She started traveling around the world during the summers on the Canadian team, and at the age of 16 she competed in both Junior and Senior Worlds, an experience she described as “unparalleled adventure.”

Jenny would have loved to keep competing in modern pentathlon, but the realities of lugging her fencing bag, riding gear and gun across the world on modeling gigs proved to be too much. Her fencing bag was eventually left behind.

Jenny eventually settled in New York, where she lived for 10 years, and during that time Jenny became a “gym junky,” running the New York City Marathon and eventually unearthing her passion for triathlons. Jenny, now in her eighth year of racing, immediately became addicted.

Jenny earned her first ever professional triathlon victory at the 2012 IRONMAN 70.3 Branson, winning in convincing fashion. She called her win a “dream come true.”

Anyone who is pursuing their dreams and living life to the fullest.

    My Faith.

  23. Who is the most influential person in your life and why?

Well God first and foremost because I wouldn't be alive if He didn't create me and put me on this earth to live with a purpose. Why? Because He is the one who blessed me with my talents and gifts. I'm just trying to live the best life I can. One day at a time.

  24. From who or what and how did they influence you going forward?

There have been many signs in life. Some just internally but also things that happen around me that keep me knowing I am on the right path.

  25. What makes you different than other girls or just unique?

What makes me different or unique is I am just being ME. No one else can. Others can inspire to be. But no one has my mind, my Heart, or my body... Meaning we were all created uniquely and as individuals. If I spent my life trying to be someone else I'd miss out on what and who I am supposed to be. I learned this through all my years of modeling and it branches into the sports. I just have to be ME. Give my all, Be my all, Live my all, Love my all.... Everything else is not my best because it is not being true to myself or being me. (now if you can make sense of that...I'll give you an award) lol

  26. What are you passionate about and why?

Life, dreaming, believing, striving, achieving. All these things bring life to life. I'm not a sitter who just contemplates life I love to live it and live it large. Breathe deep, Smile big, Laugh Hard, Cry even harder... I love to feel. I love to live my dreams & all the highs and lows that come with it.

Angelina Jolie mixed together with Jennifer Garner! Is that a totally crazy mix??

  29. What is the quality you most like in the opposite sex?

Just one??? I love someone who exudes confidence but not in an arrogant way but is just comfortable in their own skin and who they are. Also a great smile, and humor are huge.
