Mile High City Hosts REVTour
With the winter season in full swing. Denver’s REVTour stop was packed. Oakley retailers drove in from all over the front range of Colorado. They were ready to party and head over to the now famous custom goggle bar.
A beautiful blue bird day and nice temperatures set the perfect stage. Colorado reps Erik, Clint, Brad, Tim, and Eric worked the crowd to make sure their guests were having a good time. It was perfect, free drinks, an O Lab clinic, custom goggles, and another killer set by LifeSavas. REVTour is gaining momentum and about to take over Colorado. Oakley style.
FUEL TV was on set and their host Chanelle Sladics drove down from Breckenridge after a day of snowboarding. The crowd was energetic and excited to be on camera. You could really feel the anticipation of an amazing winter season in the air. We talked to people who had been up 1 day. And others had 15 days. This crew is dedicated to what the love, snowboarding and skiing.
Local snowboard legend JJ Thomas made the drive from halfpipe training at Copper Mountain to hang with the shop kids. An X Games Gold medalist and 2002 Olympic Bronze medalist can stoked the crowd. And as always, double J did not let us down. Chanelle interviewed JJ for The Daily Habit. And he told us that he is going for the Olympic team in 2010. After a couple years of riding powder and filming video sections, he is ready to get back in the pipe scene.
The REVTour continues this week to Breckenridge, Copper Mountain, and Aspen.
Tune in to FUEL TV from January 12-16, 2009 and watch Oakley Week on The Daily Habit.
