Back-to-Back! Kaya Turski Grabs Women’s Slopestyle Ski Gold, Grete Eliassen Takes Bronze at Winter X 15
Make that two. Back-to-back. Oakley Ski shredder Kaya Turski added an extra shiny Gold medal to her Winter X Games collection as her first 93.66 run in the Women’s Slopestyle Ski finals powered her to her second consecutive win in the event. Fellow Oakley girl Grete Eliassen ripped her way to her second Bronze medal in Winter X Slopestyle after racking up a score of 93.00.
She may be a rookie on the tour. But she just made a massive statement. Oakley’s French-Swiss ripper tallied a resounding win on the Freeride World Tour in Chamonix, smashing a World-class face and charging an aggressive line that rendered her the clear winner of the day. Congrats AFM!
The “One Life Crew” is set to hit you upside the head every Wednesday. Snowboarder Magazine’s formidable collection of beautiful rippers, lead by Oakley’s own Chanelle Sladics and friends, will be delivering webisodes every other week – called “One Life Wednesdays.” And you’ll be able to watch them right here on Oakley.com. The lively videos will bring you right into the “One Life” World: Competitions, film trips, the girls teaching people to ride powder and diving into the local cultures of destinations they shred. What’s more, the green-aware crew is always looking to find ways to leave a positive environmental footprint on everywhere they visit…an idea that will find its way into every webisode. The first episode features the gals in Bariloche, Argentina…starring Chanelle, of course. Check it!
