Over the past three days, the world’s top pro wakeboarders battled it out on the waters of Dallas Landing Park in Acworth, GA to compete for the first win the 2008 MasterCraft Pro Wakeboard Tour season.

In the Pro Women’s Division, six of the top female riders took to the water today for their finals. All eyes were on Oakley apparel team rider Amber Wing. With the heavy winds and rough conditions, Wing still managed to put together a sold run and finished up on the podium with a solid second place finish wearing Speechless, Palms Tee, Inno Denim, and Leather Belt.

Nicola Butler (UK) took the top spot, Emily Copeland Durham third, and Oakley Eyewear team rider Dallas Friday finished 4th place.

Oakley’s newest addition to there grassroots eyewear team, Australia’s own Harley Clifford took the top spot in the Jr. Men’s finals today, followed by Jimmy LaRiche and Robert Soven respectively. Clifford now paces all Jr. Men riders in the Indmar Performance Standings.

For the final heat of the contest, the pro mens division took the water, Rusty Malinoski , Phillip Soven , Adam Errington, and JD Webb (Dragon Eyewear). All four rippers had a killer showing in the finals, but in the end reigning MasterCraft Pro Wakeboard Tour champion Phillip Soven claimed the top spot in the contest and became the first rider on Tour to win back-to-back contests in Acworth. Webb, Malinoski and Errington rounded out the competition respectively.

Overall it was a great weekend. The Oakley team was on hand signing autographs and promoting there new team movie Push Process, which screened Saturday night at the Pro Tour Block Party along with Sean Kilgus’s newest video, “Drive.” And Ambush Wake was on site promoting the new Oakley Square O collection and limited edition Frogskins. The new styles and colors were so popular that several Pro Tour riders were buying them. The Oakley wake program has grown over the years and has always been strong in Georgia.

Thanks to the Scanti Family and everyone who helped make this a great weekend for Oakley wake.
