Harley’s House: Wakeboard Star Clifford Crowned King of Wake For Second Straight Year, World Title Clinched

When it comes to Wakeboarding, this is Harley Clifford’s house.

Showing the Wake World just why he’s a legend in the making, Oakley’s young phenom underwent his second coronation in a row, claiming the King of Wake Title and the World Championship Title following a monster performance at the WWA Wakeboard Championships in Wisconsin.

“I’m really excited about winning King of Wake for the second season in a row,” Harley said, rocking his Oakley eyewear, apparel and gear in Pleasant Prarie. “It has for sure been the craziest season ever. The riding was ridiculous, everyone killed it. I couldn’t be happier to come out on top!”

Reflective of his ownage in the water all season long, the amped up Aussie topped the field in the Pro Men’s Finals, clipping friend and rival Phil Soven with a massive 95.00 score. The result came on the heels of Harley taking the Pro Wakeboard Tour Title with his win at the Knoxville Pro Wakeboard stop.

The year’s climax brought the ongoing battle – where Harley and Soven traded blows from contest to contest – to an explosive end, with Oakley’s golden boy emerging victorious.

But Harley wasn’t the only O standout to claim hardware at the end of the season. Oakley’s young ripper, Shota Tezuka of Japan, grabbed Rookie of the Year Honors in his first campaign as a Men’s Pro. The Far East phenom enjoyed a Pro Junior Title last year.

Huge congratulations to Harley from the Oakley family on his second King of Wake Crown, World Title and Pro Series Title!
