Fun Fact: Fellow Oakley Team Rider Harley Clifford grew up riding with Amber back in Australia! In fact, their parents are friends.
Amber Wing is one of the best, if not the best, female Wakeboarder
that this industry has seen to date. She is the best for more reasons
than just one, not only does she have the tricks and the style but she
also has the brains, will, and determination to succeed in this bizz.
Wakeboarding is more than just being a raw talented athlete, you need
to know how to promote yourself, stay focused, and keep your head on
straight and Amber has what it takes. She has shown the world that she
is a force to be reckoned with, she was the first female wakeboarder
to land a toeside 720 not just freeriding but in a contest as well. To add to that, she’s the first female to land a 900!
Amber has grown up riding with boys back in Australia and inherited the guts
to prove it, she now lives the dream by chasing summer all around the
world from her home in Sydney to her second home in Clermont, FL.
Amber has raised the bar for the industry standard for women’s
wakeboarding and will continue to do so in years to come.

What's in your future, what do you want to accomplish?
Right now I am in the process of setting new goals for my future. This year has been crazy, achieving all my freeride and contest goals. I want to stay fit and healthy and keep progressing Womens Wakeboarding.

What do you love/hate about your body?
I love what my body allows me to do everyday, it's crazy to think the limits I push it to.

What pushed you to get past normalcy?
Wha'ts normal? Who's normal in this world? Personally I have a drive to excel and prove people wrong, I guess that is what pushes me.

If I am not telling someone, why would i tell the whole world?

When I get excited with my friends out partying

Lots of things. I push them all to the back of my mind so I don't think about them.

If I never found wakeboarding, I would be a gymnastics coach
