Amber Wing

Amber in Breathless

The push process movie documents so much of my life and what happened in 2007. From the day we started making the movie until the premier my riding has changed so much and I think it will show in the movie. I had so much fun making the movie. I also really enjoyed being pushed to land new tricks and riding with my other Oakley team mates. It has been a very productive and inspiring year, in which Oakley has played a major part in.

Bio

Amber Wing is from Australia, she grew up riding with the guys over there and they definitely taught her how to ride a wakeboard with style. She lives an endless summer traveling chasing her dream. She works really hard and coaches/practices with the boys out at the wakeboard camp. Amber was the first girl to ever land a 720. Although she didn’t just land it once she is very consistent and is going to bring women’s wakeboarding to another level in the future.

Photo or Film

No strong opinion on either side. Film is fun and allows me to see what the whole move looks like. Photo captures a particular moment and encourages you to hold a certain position longer because it looks good.
