Oakley’s Michael Raelert of Germany and Julie Dibens of Great Britain, both 70.3 World Champions, dominated at the 28th running of the Avia Wildflower long course triathlon Saturday.
Oakley’s Michael Weiss emerged from a field of nearly 2,000 and became the first Austrian man to win an Ironman title at the inaugural Ironman at St. George, Utah on Saturday. Oakley’s Caitlin Snow finished third in the women’s event.
Oakley’s reigning Asian champion Ryosuke Yamamoto, wearing radars, placed third Sunday in the ITU Triathlon World Cup Series in Ishigaki, Japan. Russian Valentin Meshcheryakov took wth win with a time of 1:54:02. Japan’s Yuichi Hosoda rounded out the podium.
