Bio
Chrissie Wellington, is an English triathlete who is the current Ironman World Champion and world record holder for ironman-distance triathlon races. Most recently she won her third Ironman World Championships on Kona in setting the new women’s world record time, which was held for over 15 years. She is noted for having won the World Championship less than a year after turning professional. She is also the first British athlete to hold the Ironman Triathlon World Championship.
