Eero Visits Oakley HQ & FUEL TV

Hot off his $24,000 win in Seoul, Korea, Eero Ettala flew over into LAX to do some design work and a media tour. Eero has been super busy this fall with contests, winning the, taking 2nd at the, winning best trick at Air & Style and most recently winning in Seoul. To say the very least Eero was a bit jetlagged when we caught up with him at Oakley headquarters on Monday morning.

First part of the day Eero spent time with head technical apparel designer, JD Hendley to develop concepts on his Fall 2010 / Winter 2011 Pro Rider Series kits. The concepts came out great and both Eero and JD were stoked on their power session of designs. Next up it was time to shoot Eero’s 2010 Oakley advertising campaign, the concept is Super Hero. Now we cannot divulge too much information, but check out one of behind the scenes shot from the shoot in this gallery. Look for these super sick ads in the New Year.

After a long day of designing and shooting ads, Eero picked through his new PRS apparel to wear for the next few months at and FUEL TV on Tuesday. Jetlag had finally caught up to Eero, so off we went to grab some In ‘n Out (Ettala’s favorite place) and check him into his hotel.

Tuesday morning came soon, as we needed to hit the road for The Daily Habit set by 7am. Arriving right on time, Eero met with the FUEL TV crew to go over the flow of the show and rap out with Pat Parnell (host of TDH) about his latest travels. The filming of the show went great with the top highlight of the show being the stories Eero shared about “Tracking Eero” the new television series kicking off on FUEL TV December 27th at 8:30pm EST/PST.

After the shoot for FUEL TV, Eero did a “30 Second MBA” segment for top business magazine Fast Company. Look for this clip to launch on Fast Company’s website sometime next week.

The day rapped up at Red Bull HQ in Santa Monica, where checked out his other top sponsors US digs and grabbed some much-needed Mexican food.
