He boasts national titles, too, with back-to-back Austrian time trial championship wins in 2010-2011. Cameron aims to continue his success on the road and considers Australia’s newest professional team the perfect place for his future development.

With two Giro d’Italias under his belt, Cameron now hopes to take the next step in Grand Tour riding and race the Tour de France with Australia’s first World Tour team. Beyond the Tour, Cameron en visions testing himself in the Classics and one week stage races and admits to having his sights set on Liège-Bastogne- Liège and the Tour de Suisse.

To date his biggest road results include winning the Tour Down Under in 2011 and a top ten placing in the Italian Tirreno Adriatico Tour 2012.

Away from the bike Cameron’s hobbies include playing golf, going to the movies and relaxing at the beach.
