But in a show of remarkable recovery, Lolo returned to the scene with an aura of dominance, claiming a resounding victory in the 50-meter hurdles with a 6.78 second finish over Tiffany Porter at the U.S. Open late January.

Oakley’s hometown favorite Lolo Jones won the 100-meter hurdles title at the USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships last weekend. Jones, who grew up in Des Moines, won her second outdoor national title in 12.69 seconds on an extremely hot Saturday afternoon in Iowa.
