I've always thought of myself as one of the guys. I think guys have an advantage because they get to watch each other try new tricks. When a girl does a new trick, she's usually never been able to see another girl do it.

Bio
The Minneapolis-born Norwegian has established herself as one of the sports’ most promising young guns. At the Winter X Games IX, she walked in a first-time competitor and away as “Female Innovator of the Games”. With a talent for making huge 5s and alley-oop 7s appear as effortless as her trademark spread eagles, Eliasson’s prowess is in the air, but her fearlessness applies to the entire mountain. Identifiably bubbly, Eliasson has retained a “ski for fun” mantra without compromising her aggressive approach.
Eliasson, who wrote a school thesis on sexism in sports, did her part
for women’s freeskiing when she designed her ‘05 &’ 06 ski for Armada. The
ARW’s topsheet features a shirtless male model strutting the runway. “They’re ridiculous,” she says. “But something had to be done. There were too many girls on skis!”

- How do you see yourself? Are you rebellious? Quiet? Weird? Why? Basically, I'm rebellious and weird. Sometimes I do things so differently then others, which may seem rebellious to me, but to others they just find me weird.
- What are the things that inspire you? Everything really inspires me. When I see people doing certain things with their lives. Or when I hear people talking about their goals of something they want to do and they go out and do it. I think way to many people talk about their aspirations in life and envy to many people. They should instead just take the plunge and try it for themselves, but still in the same time support others. Oprah Winfrey, music, good people and smiles.
- What is the greatest lesson you have ever learned? No Idea! I've learned so many things, just by existing on Earth. Well, lately I've been doing some reading and I've come across "Don't take anything personally" and people really don't notice you're flaws as much as you think they do." So if you're worried about making a fool of yourself, don't because seriously, barley anyone is paying attention.
- Favorite person to travel with? Tell us a story about your travels. My favorite person to travel with is my buddy Michelle. She's just such a hoot. I couldn't even begin to tell you about our adventures.
- What is the greatest thing you have taught somebody else? Well I like to believe I've taught a lot of people a lot of things, because I taught in High-School. I've also coached and volunteered a lot, and I've been a lifelong Life Coach to a lot of my friends. But I hope that everyone who has been around me has learned how to be happy and to treat others kindly.
- What are the things or stories that encapsulate the way you live your life? I’ve already been so fortunate with being able to travel as much as I do. I was also raised between two countries. Therefore, I believe I have a very open mind on a lot of things that go on in the world today. The two people that are to thank for this wonderful upbringing are my parents who have been supportive in everything that I’ve ever done.
- What are the greatest hurdles you have had to overcome in life? - Mean nasty teachers - Making big decisions like: o Quitting racing o Continuing to go to school o Getting through painful moments in my life and watching people in my life go through their painful moments.
- What do you hold the most valuable to you in life? My family, friends and faith.
- What are your most fond childhood memories? Being at the Lake!!!
- Tell me a little about your best friend. Why are they your best friend and how are you alike and different from each other? My best friend is getting married this September and I’m nowhere near ready to get married. We were so alike when we were younger, but then our personalities just grew from each other, but we’re still really close because of our bond and I could tell that girl anything and she can always tell me what to do when I need help.
- What are the 3 biggest things you learned from your parents? 1. Help Others 2. Love 3. Energy
- What are the greatest signs you have received in life? - Being surrounded with loving friends - Feeling Happy - Feeling Sad
- What makes you different than other girls or just unique? I do a lot of different things at once, which would make most girls trip. And somehow I still am a very balanced person.
- What are you passionate about and why? - My education - God - Doing my part
- What interests do you have other than snowboarding/skiing and why? - Volunteering, it’s just a good thing to do. - Listening to music; I just like to bump in my car. - Dancing, because I like to get my groove on. - Learning
- What made you start your sport and why? It was a family activity.
- What fears do you have? How do you deal with them? Plenty of fears. I deal with them by thinking, what’s the worst that could happen? I ask advice from my friends and family.
- If someone was to write a book about you, what would be the title? Why? “The Baddest Bitch†(just kidding, I only wish)
- If you were a rockstar, what would your album cover look like? First of all, I would be a rapper. I’m thinking 40s and a waterfall. I would just look super gnarly if I was a rocker, huge hair, crazy eye liner, etc.
- Please add anything that comes to mind about who you are, your interests and passions and who you aspire to be in life and in the future. All I want to be is a good person.
- Any last words I love U!...yea YOU!
