Oakley star cyclist Cadel Evans fulfilled the dream of his coach Aldo Sassi this weekend – claiming the Yellow Jersey in Stage 20 on his way to an overall Tour de France Championship triumph. The Aussie standout, the first of his country to claim the ultra-prestigious honor, closed out what had been one of the most intensely dramatic races in years by trampling a 57-second deficit to fellow Oakley star Andy Schleck (Leopard Trek).

Finally: Andy Schleck Arrives With Stage 18 Tour de France Victory, Powers to Second Overall
The 2009/2010 runner up has officially arrived. Oakley Star Cyclist Andy Schleck of Leopard Trek – edged out last year by defending Champ Alberto Contador for the Yellow Jersey – finally clinched a stage victory (18) after steadily stepping up over the course of the race. The 26-year-old phenom stepped up the attack in stunning fashion to triumph atop the Col du Galibier. Reminiscent of past battles with his primary rival, Andy broke clear with a charge on the Col d’Izoard – leaving Contador flailing in the peloton.

Attack on 17: Cycling Star Edvald Boasson Hagen Claims Second Stage Victory at Tour de France – Six of Top 10 Remain Oakley
He may have been edged by fellow O star Thor Hushovd in the 16th stage. But this time, Edvald Boasson Hagen took it to the house. Oakley’s Norwegian standout powered his way into a 14-man escape group on the 179km route as the race raged into Italy – then executed a decisive attack on the day’s final ascent with 11km left. Edvald sailed past Sylvan Chavanel and pulled away from the pack for a glorious Stage 17 victory.
