Lucky 13: Star Team Cyclist Thor Hushovd Claims Stage 2 at Tour de France, Oakley Riders Dominate Top 13 Spots
Who ever said 13 was unlucky? We sure don’t think so. Oakley Star Cyclist Thor Hushovd, who claimed the Stage 2 victory at Tour de France over the weekend, was one of the overall Top 13 riders…all of which rock Oakley performance eyewear. This marks the first time in history that the top 13 riders in the overall G.C. are sporting the Big O. Claiming the second stage – a 23km time trial with the start and finish line in Les Essarts – gave Thor’s team, Garmin-Cervelo, its first win of the Tour de France. The team finished the time trial in 24 minutes, 48 seconds.
