How can you not root for a guy with a name like Levi Leipheimer?

Even if his perfectly alliterated name doesn’t get you, his results certainly will. A bronze medalist at the 2008 Olympics, Leipheimer won the Tour of California for three consecutive years (2007-09) and has four top-ten finishes at the Tour de France, including third overall in 2007.

In 2011, Leipheimer won the Tour de Suisse by a four-second margin, calling it his “biggest win ever.”

Considered one of the best time trialists in the world and a true leader, Leipheimer has auctioned a number of his prized Tour de France jerseys to benefit charities. That’s part of what makes him a big favorite among cycling enthusiasts.
