Oakley athletes dominated The Tour of California, taking the overall victory and winning 4 out of 8 stages. The eight-day race covers over 800 miles of some of California’s most beautiful terrain, including through the redwoods, the wine country, along the Pacific Coast, and finishing in Thousand Oaks, CA. Most riders claimed it was one of the most physically demanding races that they have done. This year’s tour saw some of the best cyclists in the world competing including Tour de France winners, Olympic medalists and World Champions.

"I don't consider myself lucky to be a professional. I'm a pro because I worked for it. I'm not a pro because I was lucky, but I'm lucky to be where I am." "It's an unbelievable sense of achievement when you cross the line first, knowing all the hard work your team and yourself have put into the race, and everything leading up to it, has all been worthwhile. " "I want to keep winning - big, small, long, short, road, track, hard, easy - it doesn't matter, as long as the team or I are first across the finish line. I just love racing my bike! "
