Oakley Dominates Dauphine

Oakley completely dominated the Critérium du Dauphiné Libéré, an annual cycling road race run over eight stages in the Dauphiné region in France, by taking the top three places and the final stage victory.

While Oakley’s Alexandre Vinokourov of Kazakhstan won the final stage, a 129-kilometer trek in the southern Alps, teammate Christophe Moreau proved that at 36, he remains France’s leading stage race specialist when he won the overall for the second time in his career. Moreau beat Oakley’s Cadel Evans of Australia by 14 seconds overall.

In addition to the Dauphiné domination, Oakley and Radar saw similar success in Switzerland when Fabian Cancellara took a huge bite out of his rivals on Saturday and won the 2007 Tour de Suisse’s prologue by eight seconds.
