Seb Toutant Wins First TTR Contest of 2010/2011 Season

It was quite a snow filled weekend for our Oakley Snowboard team. Oakley’s best and the world’s best ventured up to Whistler Blackcomb this past weekend for the first ever summer Snowboard TTR contest to be held in the northern hemisphere, kicking off the new TTR season.

The contest comprised of a 25-foot high kicker that launched the riders over a make it or break it gap (80 foot) and onto a short landing that didn’t leave much room for error.

Seb Toutant in first place now for the TTR 2011 season along with his $20,000 for first prize. Mark McMorris double corked it to third place and $6000, which puts him in the third spot of the TTR world rankings.

Great video to watch of the contest and the finals.

Additionally, Dash Kamp (Oakley) from the US also won the rail jam.

14-year-old Oakley Japanese rider Yuuki Kadono was killing it! This kid will be someone to watch out for down the road, and Oakley Norwegian Gjermund Braaten was also riding unbelievably.
