ASR & Snow Flicks

Team Oakley represented with a huge presence at ASR namely highlighted by our brand new trade show booth. The booth is a complete departure from our past look and showcases two monstrous movie screens on both sides including a stage in the front. Top accounts, athletes, reps and more visited the booth to check out our latest lines within the Square O, Uniquely and Oakley campaigns. Top highlights from the show were the band, The Shys from San Clemente taking over the stage on Friday afternoon with beverages available for all in attendance.

Each night was stacked with movie premiers from around the snowboard industry. On Thursday night Mongo Productions premiered their second video to date starring Oakley shredders Kyle Clancy (founder and director of Mongo Pro), Sammy Luebke and the 2002 Olympic Bronze Medalist – JJ Thomas. Everyone had sick parts, but JJ stole the show with some banger footage from the fruitful snow season in downtown Denver.

Several movie premiers including Standard Films latest installment, “Catch The Vapors,” highlighted Friday night, which was truly insane to watch with Danny Kass and Kazuhiro Kakubo representing Oakley. Kass really throws down in his part with footage ranging from this insanely large gap jump at Whistler following Danny via helicopter to high flying stomping action in Norway with Mads and Lando.

Saturday was the final night with Analog, Gravis and Future Snowboarding hosting a concert by the one and only “Trouble” Trevor Andrew. The party was a blast and Trouble’s music was on point as usual.
