2nd Rip Curl Cup


With limited environmental resources in Hong Kong, Tai Long Wan provided the best surfing waves at the 2nd Rip Curl Cup. 40 contestants surfed before a crowd of 200 for an event presented by X-Game, China Coast Surf School, Red Bull, Pepperonis, X-Federation and Hawaiian sunscreen. Oakley was the official eyewear sponsor featuring the new THUMP 2 wearable electronics sunglass that contains High Definition Optics® (HDO®).

The remote location of Tai Long Wan made the transportation triple hard to access, but the true Surf lovers made an extra travel effort to enjoy the casual, comfortable and interactive event.
