Kauai’s Koa Smith is no stranger to the limelight. Between his quick wit and even quicker backside hack, Koa has been gracing the glossy pages of magazines the world over for years. In recent years, Koa’s surfing has matured considerably after years of being groomed along Kauai’s numerous world-class reefbreaks. The tow-headed goofyfoot, in conjunction with his older brother, Alex, has also shown a knack for maintaining a light-hearted approach to his surfing career, with many of his various pursuits (i.e. Lowers Raid) documented on his blog, lastnamefirst.tv.
