You know what they say about home cooking. Jordy Smith sure does. Oakley’s South African surf star toppled Mick Fanning on his home turf to emphatically rack up back-to-back Jeffreys Bay titles. The O team phenom employed superior wave selection in tough three-to-four foot conditions to take out Fanning with combined wave scores of 15.60 to 14.83 – powering Jordy up three places in the World Tour rankings to No. 2 behind Aussie Joel “Parko” Parkinson and just ahead of fellow O teammate Adriano de Souza.
