Jadson Andre constantly seeks improvement. Whether it’s his English, his mental game or his backside, the 19-year-old from Natal City, Brazil isn’t going to settle for anything less than exceptional. Runner-up performances at the 2008 Billabong World Junior Championships and the Oakley Pro Junior North Stradbroke only fueled the lanky goofy footer to go even bigger and placed him in the media radar. In 2009, he vindicated the bold predictions and solidified his WQS campaign when he won the Quiksilver Pro Durban, South Africa. After clearly qualifying with a final WQS rating of third, Jadson joins the Dream Tour this year. It’s hard to imagine Andre any higher above the lip, but that’s exactly where he’s aiming.
