Bio

Growing up in the coastal town of Santa Barbara, California, Conner Coffin has always had a love for the ocean. His passion for surfing started at a very early age, much of which he credits to his dad, who put him in the ocean when he was only in kindergarten. Since that first dip, there has been no stopping him. With access to some of the most famous surfing spots on the California coast like Rincon and Leadbetter beaches, Coffin has been hard at work making his name known on the world’s surfing scene.

Coffin’s smooth, clean and powerful style comes from years of growing up surfing those famous point-breaks. Among his list of future goals, he aspires to surf like Dane Reynolds and one day qualify for the WCT.

By the age of 14, Coffin had already won the Gold Coast Explorer Boys Conference Championship, and in 2006 he became the NSSA Open Boys National Champion – which he cites as his greatest accomplishment to date. He likes contests not only because he is competitive by nature, but because he feels they significantly improve his surfing. However, when push comes to shove, Coffin is all about enjoying the sport that he loves.
Coffin has been busy traveling to exotic surf spots around the globe, most recently, the to Bali for the Oakley World Pro Junior. Getting his feet wet outside of his local surf, has undoubtedly helped him continue to develop his skills. Young, passionate and talented, Conner Coffin is well on his way to realizing his goals.
