Bio
Nat Young just goes surfing. He doesnaAAt think about the fact that a legendary, world champion surfer shares his name, or that he regularly earns his waves amongst one of the heaviest crews of local regulators, because none of that matters when youaAAre a stoked grom. Life is too good—and heaAAs just stoked to go surfing everyday. He wants to make it to the WCT, so he knows that he will have to do well in some Pro Junior Events and then duplicate that success on the WQS, but right now heaAAs focused on keeping up on schoolwork while away for photo trips and contests. When youaAAre a stoked grom with the kind of schedule he does, you donaAAt have time to think about much else. Training in the gladiator pit at The Lane everyday and sharing the namesake of a great surfing champion doesnaAAt seem to register as anything more than part of his daily routine. Nat YoungaAAs biggest challenge as a professional surfer may be something that isnaAAt self-imposed at all aA” to live up to all that hype.
