    Julian Wilson is no rookie. But when it comes to Vans Triple Crown contests on the North Shore (Hawaii), the Oakley Team ripper as fresh as they get. Nonetheless, Julian smashed his way to a solid third-place finish at the Reef Hawaiian Pro – Haleiwa this past weekend, making a strong showing at his first-ever 6-star Prime rated final. The podium catapults Julian to front-runner status for the JN Automotive Rookie of the Vans Triple Crown award: recognition for the top newcomer to the series.
