Julian Wilson Eliminates Slater in Round 3 of Quiksilver Pro Gold Coast
Oakley’s Julian Wilson (AUS), 20, caused the upset of the season by eliminating reigning nine-time ASP World Champion Kelly Slater (USA), 37, from competition during Round 3 of the Quiksilver Pro Gold Coast at Snapper Rocks.

Oakley Surfers Make Up Half of USA Surf Team Roster
Oakley’s Nat Young, Balaram Stack, Connor Coffin, Evan Geiselman, Ian Crane, Colin Moran and Lani Doherty will join the 2009 PacSun USA Surf Team travel roster that will compete at the Quiksilver ISA World Junior Surfing Championship in Ecuador from March 28-April 5.
