In a country like Norway, where the quality of snowboarders runs deep, to be recognized as the best in the bunch means something. You’re doing something right. You’re on the right path. Not that we thought any differently about Stale Sandbech, but by being named Norwegian Snowboarder of the Year, it’s clear that State is killing it. “This was really big for me!” Stale said. “All the other guys nominated were riders I really respect and I am really proud to be named among them.”
The Helgason Bros. like to get weird. From their antics while flying into big pow or finding rails along Main Street, Anywhereville to their time existing in whatever town around the world, shock and awe and hilarity just comes with the territory around the pair. Jake Blauvelt doesn’t go into anything half-heartedly. The lines he takes. The tricks he attempts. The life he leads. And the media projects he puts together. Everything Jake does, he goes Beyond Reason. Jake has taken that mentality and has raised the signature film bar once again with his latest NATURALLY project. Two years in the making (dropping Fall 2013 for free on twsnow.com), this latest project will be comprehensive in its variety of layers and releases: high-end movie, web TV series, TV documentary, video part and more.
