The young Canadian posted a 97 during the Elimination round, the highest score ever awarded in WX Slopestyle (male or female, Snowboard or Skiing).     Oakley sleighs it at Winter X Games. Literally. Exhibit O: The super private media event on Tuesday night, where Oakley Team Snowboard and Ski Stars took industry reporters on a horse-drawn sleigh ride to the ultra-remote Pine Creek Cookhouse. Literally in the middle of nowhere, Snowboard Team Rippers Eero Ettala, newly-signed Maddy Schaffrick, Gretchen Bleiler, Kohei Kudo and Matt Ladley – as well as Ski Star Simon Dumont – dined with and chatted with the media about the coming X Games contest this week and Oakley’s 2012 snow apparel/gear line. All following a chilly and undeniably memorable journey by slay in the dark of night in the outskirts of Aspen.

    Mark McMorris has been flat out killing it. Oakley’s young snowboard ripper, who’s the first rider to ever have landed a complete backside triple cork 1440, is set to make his mark on the upcoming Winter X Games in Aspen after grabbing a Silver medal in Slopestyle last year. He’s making so much noise, in fact, that The Alli Show put out a killer feature on him…one that was later featured on an NBC Sports snowboarding broadcast.

    It’s show time. Oakley Snowboard Team Star Danny Kass and Team Personality ‘The Dingo,’ have been wreaking havoc on their self-titled FUEL TV show for the viewing pleasure of fans everywhere. Well the dynamic duo is set to take hordes of Hollywood celebrities on the slopes next week in Utah for the “Oakley Learn to Ride” event during Sundance Film Festival…where they’ll teach some of brightest in show biz to snowboard. Celebs turned riders, Oakley style. Danny & Dingo are so pumped that they’re giving away prize packs of super sick and stylin’ Oakley 2012 Snow Gear! All you have to do is add a funny, witty caption to their funky picture on Oakley’s Facebook Fan Page. One male winner and one female winner will be chosen.
