Torstein Horgmo’s first-ever Triple Cork made Winter X Games history last year. But as always, Oakley’s athletes weren’t done pushing the envelope. Coming from behind in the Big Air Finals on Friday, Oakley’s Young Canadian Star Mark McMorris threw down a massive Backside Triple Cork 1440 to claim glory in Aspen. Mark McMorris has been flat out killing it. Oakley’s young snowboard ripper, who’s the first rider to ever have landed a complete backside triple cork 1440, is set to make his mark on the upcoming Winter X Games in Aspen after grabbing a Silver medal in Slopestyle last year. He’s making so much noise, in fact, that The Alli Show put out a killer feature on him…one that was later featured on an NBC Sports snowboarding broadcast.
