Triple Cork?! Torstein Horgmo Dazzles Winter X 15, Grabs Snowboard Big Air Gold
It’s never been done at Winter X. But Oakley’s Torstein Horgmo busted out a huge triple cork in the Snowboard Big Air Contest, dazzling the amped up crowd on hand and grabbing the Gold medal. Youngster and X Games rookie Sebastien Toutant’s score of 79 was just a single point behind Torstein’s 80.

Nordic Jamming: O’s Sebastien Toutant Victorious at Stockholm’s Stadium Winter Jam
Oakley’s young rippers continue to charge their way into the limelight. Team Rider Sebastien Toutant spearheaded O’s efforts in the Nordic cold this past weekend, emerging victorious at the 5th Stadium Winter Jam in Stockholm, Sweden. The French Canadian phenom threw down a variety of double corks, including a backside 1080 double cork, for a final score of 51.3 and the win at the second Big Air contest of the 2011 LG Snowboard FIS World Cup. The triumph was his first World Cup victory – catapulting him into the lead in the Big Air World Cup and Freestyle Snowboard Overall World Cup standings.
