Oakley Snowboarding Sweeps NZ Burton Open Podium: Mark McMorris Takes The Win
The Oakley Men’s snowboard team stomped their way to victory today at Cadrona Resort in New Zealand at the Burton Global Open Series kick off event. Sweeping the podium with a 1,2,3 order in the finals of the Slopestyle course. With this being the first major contest of the year most riders are getting warmed up for the upcoming winter. But that was not the case today, as all the riders knew it was anyone game and the rider with the most progressive tricks would win.

Triple Cork?! Torstein Horgmo Dazzles Winter X 15, Grabs Snowboard Big Air Gold
It’s never been done at Winter X. But Oakley’s Torstein Horgmo busted out a huge triple cork in the Snowboard Big Air Contest, dazzling the amped up crowd on hand and grabbing the Gold medal. Youngster and X Games rookie Sebastien Toutant’s score of 79 was just a single point behind Torstein’s 80.
