Bio
Lauri Heiskari popped onto the scene as Snowboarder Magazine’s Rookie of Year in 2003 after having a stand out part in Snowboard video “Video Gangs”. This incredibly talented young ripper from Finland has been spotted wearing everything from fur hats to capes on handrails and backcountry booters. Having a mentor like snowboard Finnish snowboard legend Joni Malmi helped Lauri gain his ability to step it up and stick the sickest handrail tricks and most fluid park runs.
After being sidelined from a broke collarbone for the first half of last season, Lauri spent the second half of last winter in Canada and Tahoe charging and ended up getting a great part in Forum’s new snowboard video “THAT”. Make sure to check out the sick footage he was able to produce in such a short amount of time.
During the off-season Lauri kicks it in So Cal with his buddies Iikka and Eero surfing and hanging with other industry friends. Lauri rocks the pink crowbars and “twitch” sunglasses for Oakley.
