Oakley's Jenny Jones Takes Gold At The European X Games

It was another beautiful day in Tignes, France, and the final day of European X Games was on fire. Women’s slopestyle kicked off the day with the ladies charging at the same course the guys ran the day before.

It was a showdown that everyone expected as the heavy hitters were all in attendance. Kjersti Buaas, Spencer Obrien, and more were all there throwing down over one of the most challenging slopestyle courses in Winter X history.

At the end of the day, it was Oakley’s Jenny Jones (UK) that threw down a run of serious consequence. Jenny combed up a creative run over the eight hit course bringing back to back spins and a huge frontside 720 over the final booter to seal the victory!

This marks a huge win for Jenny, as it is her third straight Winter X Games Slopestyle gold medal. This is a huge achievement for a rider that has come on so strong in the last few years that the entire field has taken notice, and tried to catch her. Big congrats to Jenny on her huge win!

“It’s for sure still sinking in but it feels brilliant to have won a third Gold medal at the X Games and I can’t help but laugh to myself when I think about it. So stoked.” Said Jenny about her victory.
