As the season slows down for Eero and crew, it was time to hit up Europe for hopefully a few solid weeks of filming some sick jumps. The crew meet up in Munich and rolled to Solden, Austria in some badass Audi wagons. The drive was mellow, only taking two hours, including a McD’s stop for Eero.

So, for me, this “once in a lifetime opportunity” has been made up of traveling to Russia, Japan, Canada, and all over Europe to ride with guys like Nicolas Muller, Danny Kass, Torstein Horgmo, Kevin Pearce, and Eiki Helgason to name a few.

Each year at this time Oakley pulls together from all our offices to welcome global media to showcase our up coming product lines, provide education, discuss our methods and do a little bit of partying. This year “Global Media Week” is taking place in the Lower East Side (LES) of Manhattan, NY.

Eero Ettala has been scoring on many levels the last few weeks in Japan. Since arriving fresh off the madness that was Red Bull Snowscrapers, Ettala has been shredding the gnar ninja backcountry. Hooking up with reigning TTR World Title Champion Kevin Pearce and slayer of all backcountry goodness Nicolas Muller, Eero has been enjoying his time in Japan filming for his TV Show “Tracking Eero” coming out this fall on FUEL TV.
