Oakley's JJ Thomas Victorious At Mt. Snow, Claims Winter Dew Tour Title

Oakley’s JJ Thomas continued with his blasting huge amplitude and technical tricks in the halfpipe this past weekend at Mt. Snow, the final stop on the Winter Dew Tour. Moving into the weekend JJ was positioned to take the title with a first place finish.

He continued down the same path he has been all season, pulling from his bag of super technical tricks and going bigger in the pipe than his competitors. The cold temperatures in Vermont didn’t stop JJ from decisively winning the event and claiming the overall Dew Tour Cup. “The pipe was good, it was decent all week but for the finals it was really good,” said Thomas.

JJ’s back-to-back 1080’s and 15 feet-plus airs out of the pipe impressed the judges and fans that endured the -10 degree weather to watch the finals under the lights. At the end of the night, his first place finish secured the Championship title and the $25,000 prize.
