    If it wasn’t the winning SuperPipe run at Winter X Games 15 that sent electric currents through the icy air, it was Kevin Pearce. Oakley’s recovering Snowboard Star, who sustained major injuries during an accident in December 2009 while training for the Winter Olympics, appeared at Winter X at the bottom of the Pipe – stoking cheers from the inspired snow fans in the crowd.

    Episode 8 focus: The Chicken Jam. Our ripper Chanelle Sladics and the “One Life” crew of Snow rippers dropped Webisode 8 of their vibrant series this month. As always, beautiful shreddage and a peek at life as a female pro snowboarder. The collection of beauties hit the final event of the season at Mammoth Lakes, Calif., the Roxy Chicken Jam. Due to heavy snowfall and an airport closing, the crew decided to make it a full on road trip – followed up by some rippage and some fun at night with Kellen Malloy (singer/songwriter/DJ) and more.

This particular webisode documents the girls’ journey through Switzerland. From athletes getting attacked by a nasty flu, competing at the European Open and going sightseeing in Zurich, this edition features some dramatic music and a killer black and white slo mo section to top everything off.
