Epic weather and an impeccable Superpipe greeted 15,000 fans and many of the world’s top snowboarders at the US Open Snowboarding Championships held at Stratton Mountain Resort. No strangers to the top spot on the US Open Superpipe podium, Danny Kass took home his record-setting fifth US Open Superpipe title.

Oakley Uprising Northwest
The Oakley Uprising was founded in 2007 to promote transition riding on the most basic level. In a response to the huge influx of rail contests, Oakley seeks to bring other elements to the Grassroots contest arena. In 2006 Oakley officially became the sponsor for the Artic Challenge, Terje Haakonsen’s contest seeking to push transition and quarter pipe riding.
