    What a showdown at the first TAC slopestyle since 2003. Top 20 riders from the TTR ranking (excpet the injured Seb Toots and Ipod) are confirmed. Furthermore, top 6 from the X Games slopestyle finals and top 8 from the overall Dew Tour ranking are heading for Norway.

This is an evolutionary step for a kid who is devoted to progressing what is possible on his snowboard. From his early days on hill as a Vermont contest local, Jake has consistently pushed himself to find a path that is true to his dreams. That path has taken him from icy park jumps to powder turns; from podiums to heli drops and he has continued to evolve with every step taken.

    Oakley’s JJ Thomas continued with his blasting huge amplitude and technical tricks in the halfpipe this past weekend at Mt. Snow, the final stop on the Winter Dew Tour. Moving into the weekend JJ was positioned to take the title with a first place finish.

    This was the first time I have filmed in Japan. And it snowed almost everyday! Once again the crew was amazing, Nicolas Muller and Kevin Pearce made it so much fun. Those guys kill it. And all of our riding styles are so different. Nicolas really knows how to take advantage of that Japanese terrain. He is the powder master!

    Oakley’s Kevin Pearce continues to make excellent strides in his recovery. Just over one month after his accident Kevin has been transferred from the University of Utah Hospital to Craig Hospital – a world renowned center for specialty rehabilitation and research for people with traumatic brain injury. There Kevin will begin his next steps towards a full recovery.

    Again my first time doing something. First time on a heli! Me, Danny Kass and Torstein Horgmo had a big mission of hitting POW jumps in Pemberton BC. It was such a cool and motivated crew to ride with. The snow was pretty shallow on some spots and I hit like 3 rocks on my trip and hit a big ass tree with my leg.
