Oakley’s Willie Borm Owns, Video Style; Crowned King of the Snow Groms
There can only be one King of the snow groms.
Oakley’s Willie Borm joined a whole host of the ski and snowboard industries’ brightest up and coming youngsters in submitting videos to Teton Gravity Research for their First Annual Grom Contest.
With the likes of Oakley’s Sammy Carlson on hand, amongst other big names, the judging panel was absolutely blown away at the level of riding coming out of the next generation. From freeride, big mountain to freestyle, the quality of the videos made the final decision extremely difficult, with days of debate needed to settle it all.
Lo and behold, Willie, who’s just 13, emerged as the victor!
