Oakley Athletes Prepare To Compete In The European Freeski Open


Oakley partners with the premier freestyle destination in Europe, LAAX, to host the European season highlight of the freeski scene from the 3rd to the 6th of March 2010.

Featuring high level competitions the European Open will give local and amateur riders the chance to compete with some of the best in the sport including 2009 champions Oakley’s Henrik Harlaut and Oakley’s Virginie Faivre. With a purse of US $50,000 the event offers the highest prize money on the continent.

The courses are the most innovative and expertly shaped constructions in the Alps. The resort’s strong commitment to the sport and its lifestyle combined with an extensive background in organizing rider-driven freestyle events serve to make the set-up unique. High level action, incredible tricks performed by international riders, the presence of the new European Rolling O lab and rocking side-events guarantees an amazing freeskiing event in the impressive Alps of Grisons.
