After a four-year hiatus from competition, the 28-year-old freeski icon showed up at the North Face Freeski Open at Snow Park, New Zealand and wasted little time in exerting his dominance.

The response to “The Ordinary Skier” made it clear that this was no ordinary skiing flick. In this interview, director Constantine ‘C.P.’ Papanicolaou dishes on the film, which featured Seth Morrison. C.P. explains his motivations for creating an in-depth skiing documentary with Oakley and the risks that went along with it. He also discusses the struggles and dangers that go along with a low budget film (ice pick climbing, dangerous conditions, etc.).
